The glitzy $20-million Infinity Convention Centre opening next month will not conflict with the nearby EY Centre, says the property’s manager. A media tour through the Infinity Convention Centre on Gibford Drive near Hunt Club Road revealed an opulent 5,000-square-foot foyer with gleaming marble floors, a 23-foot LED water wall, and a glamorous curved crystal chandelier. The wedding and corporate events venue features a 15,000-square-foot ballroom that can be split into three spaces and accommodate more than 1,000 guests.
When asked if there is enough demand for more of these venues, especially for one so close physically to the EY Centre, manager Anu Sohal says their facility doesn’t compete with those centres, so much as complement them. “The EY Center deals with more of the larger shows, whereas we are a different size and feel,” said Sohal viagra para hombres. “We would work really well with the EY Centre. For example, for the upcoming food and wine festival, the festival is there but we are holding the VIP tasting alley. So I really see us working together on a lot of events.”
Weddings and corporate events are already booked this year and throughout 2017.
